MYSELF
My name is Warin Inthayot, but my friends call me Icy. I was born and raised in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Soon I discovered my sense for creativity, which over the years became a deep love and strong passion for fashion. After studying Architecture in Chiang Mai, I went to the United States to further expand and deepen my knowledge and skills about fashion. I studied at the International Academy of Design & Technology (IADT) in Orlando, Florida.
After turning to Chiang Mai in 2008, I started to work on an idea on how I could increase the awareness for fashion in Thailand. BACKSTAGE was born in 2009 a place of inspiration and fashion knowledge.
ในการทำงานด้านแฟชั่น ผมนิยามตนเองว่า เป็นผู้สร้างสรรค์งานแฟชั่นด้วยความรักและความสุขในการทำงาน ซึ่งงานด้านนี้ เป็นทั้งศาสตร์และศิลป์ ผมต้องการถ่ายทอดผลงานของผมให้ออกมาเป็นงานแฟชั่นที่ร่วมสมัย ไม่หยุดนิ่งมีสไตล์ คนทั่วไปสามารถเข้าถึงและสวมใส่เสื้อผ้าที่ผมออกแบบในชีวิตประจำวันได้ ในขณะเดียวกันการเรียนรู้ด้านแฟชั่นเป็นการเรียนรู้ที่ไม่มีที่สิ้นสุด ดังนั้นผมจึงรักที่จะเรียนรู้สิ่งใหม่ๆอยู่เสมอ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นด้านการออกแบบ เทคโนโลยี และการตลาด ซึ่งผมถือว่าเป็นความท้าทายที่ทำให้ผมมีความรู้สึกระตือรือร้น ได้พัฒนาทักษะของตนเอง และเพื่อพัฒนาวงการแฟชั่นไทยต่อไปในอนาคต
